§ 21. Mr. Wareingasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when he intends to hold talks with the Turkish ambassador about matters relating to human rights in Turkey.
§ Mr. WhitneyMy right hon. and learned Friend has no present plans to do so. However, he did raise the subject of human rights in Turkey with the Turkish Foreign Minister in Stockholm on 19 January and again in Paris on 17 May.
