§ Mr. Wareingasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will make a statement on those recommendations of the Oglesby report which remain to be implemented.
§ Mr. NewtonWe have now implemented 11 of the recommendations in Mr. Oglesby's report, including all his suggestions for improving the present system. We are considering the remainder—many of which involve fundamental changes in the administration of mobility allowance and attendance allowance—in the light of comments received during the course of public consultation, and we will announce our decisions as soon as possible.
