§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State answering in respect of the Arts (1) how many community-based arts centres there are in England and Wales, respectively; how many of each of these are funded by (a) local authorities, (b) private sponsorship, (c) arts associations and (d) the Arts Council; and what is the total funding allocated by the Arts Council for such purposes in England and Wales in the current year;
(2) if he will list the arts centres currently operating in England and Wales, indicating which ones work in liaison with local universities and colleges.
