HC Deb 26 June 1984 vol 62 c400W
Mr. William Ross

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is his estimate of the number of nights spent by angling tourists in Scotland in each of the last five years for which figures are available; what is his estimate of the sums spent by such tourists in each of those years; and what is his estimate of the breakdown between game, sea and coarse anglers.

Mr. John MacKay

The available information does not provide an adequate base for reliable estimates.
