HC Deb 26 June 1984 vol 62 c397W
Mr. Carter-Jones

asked the Secretary of State for Transport what representations he has received about the Civil Aviation Authority's proposals regarding Manchester airport; if any organisation or individual in the north has supported the Civil Aviation Authority's recommendations; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. David Mitchell

The Civil Aviation Authority has not put forward any specific ideas about Manchester airport in its interim assessment of airline competition policy.
