§ The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster (Lord Cockfield)The Government intend to issue before the Summer Recess a Green Paper setting out their proposals for reform of building society law. The Government have no plans to introduce legislation on the lines suggested by the noble Lord in advance of general building society legislation.
