§ Mrs. ChalkerAll four motorway service areas on the M4 in England have facilities which can be used for picnic and rest areas. Those at Heston, Leigh Delamere and Aust366W have specific areas for picnicking. We intend that all future MSAs shall have specific picnic areas. However, it is unlikely that picnic areas can be provided on existing motorways, except where they are in conjunction with MSAs, because of the access and egress building costs.
