§ Mr. HayhoeA number of representations have been received from importers and freight forwarders on various 291W aspects of the Budget proposal to levy VAT on imported goods at the time of importation. The House will have the opportunity to consider the matter when the amending VAT regulations, giving effect to the proposal, are laid next month.
