What plans they have for reducing the number of conservancies now under consideration by the Forestry Commission.
§ The Minister of State, Scottish Office (Lord Gray of Contin)The Director General of the Forestry Commission set up a working group last year to review the commission's organisation at headquarters and conservancy levels. The commission are consulting the trade unions on the recommendations in the report of the group. No decision has been taken on the future number of conservancies.
