HC Deb 21 June 1984 vol 62 cc240-1W
Mr. Wareing

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many representations he has now received regarding his proposed severe disablement allowance; what percentage have been favourable; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Newton

I refer the hon. Member to my reply to him on 27 March, at column165. Since that date we have received a further 12 representations, reflecting similar views to those received earlier. This brings the total to 38.
