§ Mr. NewtonDay care for physically handicapped people is provided in a number of ways by both local authorities and voluntary bodies. The only statistics available centrally are for local authority day care places. The latest information is as follows. It does not necessarily reflect trends in the overall pattern of day care provision, of which these places form only a part.
