§ Sir George YoungTwo hotel projects in England have received final approval for urban development grant. Public expenditure on these projects is, under the terms of the approvals, limited to £2.324 million. Associated private sector expenditure is estimated at £8.231 million. An offer of grant towards a further project including a hotel is outstanding; no allocation for this project has yet been made. One further offer of grant for a hotel project has been declined.
