§ The Attorney-GeneralMy Department does not have sufficient resources to examine the accounts of every student union. Moreover, it is doubtful whether the accounts would be sufficiently detailed to be of very much assistance in determining the legality of small payments made by individual student societies. If I consider it useful in a particular case, I will make the necessary application to the court.
