§ Mr. Stephn Rossasked the Secretary of State for Defence what aid, both financial and practical, is being made available to enable adequate numbers of professional youth workers to be employed to look after the needs of the 1,000 or so service children in the age group 11 to 18 years at present in Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. LeeThe appointment of professional youth workers in Northern Ireland is the responsibility of the education boards concerned, and service children there have so far been treated in common with other children in the community. The possibility of providing additional assistance for service children with particular needs is currently under study.
