Bennettasked the Secretary of State for Defence if Her Majesty's Government will make it their policy that in any future intermediate nuclear forces talks, or their equivalent, the allies should insist that Soviet missile deployments in Warsaw Pact east European states are included in the considerations necessary to the determination of the military balance between the negotiating parties.
§ Mr. StanleyBoth sides agreed during the INF negotiations that limitations should include constraints on shorter range INF missile systems such as those currently being deployed forward in Eastern Europe by the USSR.
