§ Dr. BoysonThe Supplementary Benefit (Single Payment) Regulations came into effect in November 1980. The information requested is therefore not available for that year. Estimates of the numbers and average amounts of single payments made under each regulation, in 1981 and 1982 in Great Britain only are available from the "Supplementary Benefit Annual Statistical Enquiries" for those years, copies of which are in the Library.
