The following table shows those cases of pneumoconiosis and related industrial lung diseases diagnosed by the Cardiff and Swansea special medical boards in connection with claims for industrial disablement benefit from 1973 to 1983. The Cardiff special medical board covers the south-west of England and part of Wales. The Swansea special medical board covers the rest of Wales. Figures for Wales alone are not available.
