§ Mr. HayhoeCabinet Office (MPO) recently submitted to the Prime Minister and the Minister of State, Privy Council Office, a report summarising progress on the review of administrative forms. The report is published today and a copy has been placed in the Library.
The report shows that over 34,000 forms in national use were reviewed last year. Over 9,000 were improved and over 5,000 abolished. Standards for the design and control of Government forms have now been set and are included in the report. These will provide the basis for continuing improvement.
