§ Mr. Nicholas Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what checks are made to ensure that payments to the International Planned Parenthood Federation are used for the purpose for which they are intended.
§ Mr. RaisonHer Majesty's Government's payments to the International Planned Parenthood Federation take the form of an annual contribution to help the Federation implement its current three-year plan. The federation's policies, programme and performance are examined at an annual meeting of donors held in November. ODA officials participate fully in these discussions and also maintain close professional links with the federation's staff.
