asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what are the occupations registered for those arrested for offences committed whilst picketing in the miners' dispute; and what is the proportion of those who are actually currently employed as miners.

The following table gives the information available on the occupations of people arrested in connection with the miners' dispute in the period between 14 March and 5 June inclusive. Some 96 per cent. of those arrested were miners.
