§ Mr. Baldryasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if it is intended that Her Majesty's inspectors should play any role in developing links between the youth training scheme and further education and training.
§ Sir Keith JosephHer Majesty's inspectors will continue to inspect those parts of the youth training scheme that take place in further education institutions and the youth and community service; and their inspection reports will be published. There is also a continuing dialogue between HMI and officials of the Manpower Services Commission about the YTS.
