§ Mr. Ron Daviesasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what data his Department has received from the Nature Conservancy Council concerning the loss of broadleaved woodland in England, Scotland and Wales.
§ Mr. WaldegraveI have not received from the Nature Conservancy Council any information relating to loss of broadleaved woodlands in general. However, some data on changes in areas of such woodlands are contained in the consultative paper on "Broadleaves in Britain" recently published by the Forestry Commission.
