§ Dr. BoysonAny applications for review which are received will be dealt with according to the relevant legislation and the case law established by decisions of the social security commissioners, and in line with guidance on single payments for furniture and household equipment issued to local offices by the Chief Adjudication Officer. The most recent guidance, reflecting the recent decision by the Social Security Commissioners on regulation 10(1)(b) of the Supplementary Benefit (Single Payments) Regulations 1981, is contained in circular S19/84, a copy of which is in the Library.
