§ Mr. JoplingThe provision in the 1984 Community budget for expenditure on the common agricultural policy has not been changed as a result of the prices settlement. The settlement itself is expected to reduce expenditure below the level which would otherwise have obtained, although market developments are tending to have the opposite effect.
