§ Mr. Kenneth BakerI refer my hon. Friend to the very full statement made on 8 May by the Home Secretary in this place in which he explained the Government's position. I very much welcome the way that the different interests—broadcasting, programming, industrial—have worked so well together to achieve a new start for direct broadcasting by satellite in Britain.
