HC Deb 04 June 1984 vol 61 c67W
Lord James Douglas-Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether he is now in a position to make a statement on the future demand for university places following his consideration of the Association of University Teachers document "The Real Demand for Student Places" and by the report of the Royal Statistical Society following the projections given in the University Grants Committee letter of 1 November 1983 and its implications for the resources allocated to the universities.

Mr. Brooke

I refer my hon. Friend to the reply I gave to a question by the hon. Member for Birmingham, Perry Barr (Mr. Rooker) on 15 May, c. 131.
