Mr. Mark Carlisle

asked the Secretary of State for Transport when he proposes to publish the report by Major Holden, Inspecting Officer of Railways, into the fatal accident at Reddish lane level crossing, Lymm, Cheshire, on 21 January 1983.

Mr. Ridley

Major Holden was appointed as an assessor to Her Majesty's coroner for Cheshire (central division) under the provisions of section 8 of the Regulation of Railways Act 1871. He expects to send his report to the printers in the course of the next four weeks.
