§ Mr. Proctorasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) if he will set out in the Official Report the number of students in each county in England and Wales who are currently enrolled on courses with the Open University;
(2) how many students in Scotland are currently enrolled on courses with the Open University.
§ Mr. BrookeI understand from the Open University that figures are not readily available on a county basis. However, the provisional number of undergraduates, associates and postgraduate students (excluding those on short courses) enrolled in 1984 in each of these regions other than Northern Ireland is as follows:
