asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether any of the Libyans who were recently deported, whose names were given in an answer to the honourable Member for Battersea on 11th May, sought to avail themselves of the opportunity to make representations to the panel of advisers referred to in paragraph 150 of HC 169; and whether any of those persons did appear before such a panel; and whether the notification of their right to make such representations was given in writing.

Notification of the opportunity to make representations to the panel of advisers was given in writing in every case; none of the Libyan nationals concerned sought to avail himself of the opportunity.
