asked the Secretary of State for Employment what percentage of (a) males and (b) females aged between 16 and 19 years were unemployed in Lancashire at the latest available date.

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many redundancies have been notified in the county of Lancashire in the first quarter of 1984.

1,280* redundancies were confirmed as due to occur in the county of Lancashire during the first quarter of 1984. * Includes provisional figures for March 1984. Redundancies involving fewer than ten employees are excluded.
