HC Deb 04 June 1984 vol 61 c65W
Mr. Andrew F. Bennett

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many students start university courses between the ages of 21 and 25 years.

Mr. Brooke

The information which is readily available relates to the 21–24 year age group and is for the academic year 1982–83. The number of full-time and sandwich students from home and abroad in that age group entering university undergraduate courses in Great Britain in that year was 6,450.
