asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he has any plans to increase the funding of the Health and Safety Executive.

The provision in the revised estimate, published as the Supply Estimate on 14 June, for the Health and Safety Commission is £90,298,000 which is £2,525,000 above the cash limit for 1983–84.
