§ Sir George YoungLDDC owned about 900 acres of land on 31 March 1984 but information is not readily available on original ownership of the sites which go to make up this total. This information is available, however, so far as acquisitions are concerned. The total of about 1,120 acres of land acquired by LDDC since the Corporation was established includes purchases from the following:
