HL Deb 30 July 1984 vol 455 c640WA
Lord Hylton

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What efforts have been made since 1981 to deepen and broaden the activities and composition of the existing Anglo-Irish parliamentary Group, and in particular to give it a more structured agenda, related to the work of the Inter-Governmental Council, as proposed in Anglo-Irish Joint Studies, Cmnd. 8414.

Baroness Young

We stand by the agreed proposals contained in the Anglo-Irish Joint Studies. But the activities and composition of the Anglo-Irish Parliamentary Group are matters for the members of the group themselves.
