§ Mr. Prescottasked the Secretary of State for Transport why he is still instructing the local authority to continue safeguarding the 1978 draft order line of the Aire Valley route between Bingley and Baildon bridge which was rejected by the Secretary of State following the 1980 public inquiry.
§ Mr. RidleyThe 1978 draft order line of the Aire Valley route between Bingley and Baildon bridge ceased to be safeguarded by my Department on 8 November 1982 when the line order for the Aire Valley trunk road was made starting at Kidwick and finishing at Bingley.
