Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will request the Senegalese authorities to allow Ministry of Defence personnel returning from and going to the Falklands to use the air-conditioned facilities at Dakar airport.

Mr. Whitney

The possibility of approaching the Senegalese about the use of transit facilities at Dakar airport is currently under consideration.
