asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if those farmers who decide to sell their entire milk quota for this milk year will be paid for the milk produced to date.

Mr. MacGregor

Those who surrender their quota under the outgoers' scheme will, in the normal way, receive payment for the milk they have produced prior to becoming outgoers. The scheme provides that by agreement they will be able to retain sufficient of their 1984–85 quota to cover their production in order that they do not become liable for supplementary levy payments.
