asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will estimate how long it will take his Department to process an application from the Greater London council or a metropolitan county council for the disposal of any land.

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) what financial provision has been made in his Department for work associated with the processing of applications for the disposal of land from the Greater London council and the metropolitian county councils;

(2) what financial provision has been made in his Department for work associated with processing transactions over £100,000 arising from the Greater London council and the metropolitan county councils.

Enough. The expenditure on this necessary task will be contained within my Department's voted provision.
