Mr. Fisher

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) what is the estimated cost to the Treasury of the Inland Revenue extra-statutory concession on an individual's commencement or cessation of residence in the United Kingdom during a tax year in each of the last two years;

(2) what is the estimated cost to the Treasury of the Inland Revenue extra-statutory concession on flat rate allowances for cost of tools and special clothing in both of the last two years;

(3) what is the estimated cost to the Treasury of the Inland Revenue extra-statutory concession on directors' travelling expenses in both of the last two years;

(4) what is the estimated cost to the Treasury of the Inland Revenue extra-statutory concession on expenses, allowances and benefits in kind which satisfy section 189 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1970 in both of the last two years.
