§ Mr. MacfarlaneI regret that the information is not available for all of the period requested. However, since January 1981, 21 cases have been recorded as decided in the Burnley borough council area, of which seven were allowed (33 per cent.). This compares with the national average of 32 per cent. for the three years 1981–83.
