§ Mr. Ernie Rossasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what form of consent he has established under section 6(3)(a)(i) of the Matrimonial Homes (Family Protection) (Scotland) Act 1981; and whether any different form of consent applies to a consent in relation to a local authority property.
§ Mr. AncramThe forms of consent are described in the Matrimonial Homes (Form of Consent) (Scotland) Regulations 1982 made by my right hon. Friend on 13 July 1982. There is no different form of consent for use where the matrimonial home is the property of a local authority.
§ Mr. Ernie Rossasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what advice he has given to local authorities on the operation of section 6 of the Matrimonial Homes (Family Protection) (Scotland) Act 1981, with regard to their duties as a housing authority.
