§ Mr. MacfarlaneMany agricultural buildings already need planning permission. My Department put forward proposals in January for amending the general development order to clarify the present test governing permitted development for agricultural buildings, and to introduce a specific requirement for planning permission for livestock buildings near residential property. We are currently considering the many responses received.
