§ Mr. McQuarrieasked the Secretary of State for Social Services, further to the answer on 21 June, Official Report, column 238, about unclaimed benefits, if he will publish separate Scottish figures.
§ Mr. Newton[pursuant to his reply, 2 July 1984, c. 139]: It is estimated that in 1981 the annual amount of unclaimed supplementary benefit in Scotland was about £50 million. I regret that reliable estimates cannot be made in respect of the other benefits.
