§ 34. Mr. Donald Stewartasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what additional buildings or developments he has approved for Craig Dunain hospital in Inverness.
§ Mr. YoungerPhase 1 of the programme for the development of Craig Dunain hospital has been completed. Phases 2 and 3, which include the provision of new ward units and day hospital facilities, are at an advanced stage of planning and the initial stages of approval have been completed. Phase 4, which includes the upgrading and modernisation of existing main buildings, has received approval in principle but has not yet reached the further planning stages.
