§ Mr. WaddingtonThis report is an important contribution to an understanding of the nature and extent of racial disadvantage, and it will be given very careful consideration. The report is based on a survey carried out in 1982. In pursuit of the Government's commitment to equality before the law and equality of opportunity action is already being taken on many of the matters either raised in the report or relevant to it.
