§ Sir Keith JosephProposals were published by Salford Roman Catholic diocesan trustees on 1 December 1983 to110W establish two new voluntary aided secondary schools in Stretford and Urmston in substitution for the existing St. Mary's, Stretford, Cardinal Vaughan, Stretford, and St. Paul's, Urmston, secondary modern schools.
