§ Mr. Kenneth ClarkeWe have received no representations about this report.
The publication of this report is intended to stimulate debate and to seek views of member states on possible models for mutual recognition of diplomas and freedom of movement for practitioners in the field of psychiatric nursing.
Our Department, along with the other health departments of the United Kingdom has, on behalf of the advisory committee, arranged for the report to be circulated widely to statutory and professional organisations, representatives from health authorities and psychiatric nurses themselves for the purpose of 156W consultation. Comments and views are sought by mid-September and the United Kingdom members of the advisory committee will be reporting the outcome of this consultation to the committee at its meeting in October.
