HC Deb 17 July 1984 vol 64 cc123-4W
Mr. Skinner

asked the Secretary of State for Transport whether he will now take steps to provide more cycle paths in royal parks; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Macfarlane

I have been asked to reply.

Cycle paths are already provided in Hyde park, Kensington gardens and Richmond park. Cyclists may also use park roads which are open to non-trade vehicles in Hyde park, St. James's park, Green park, Regent's park, Greenwich park, Richmond park and Bushy park. I have no plans to provide more cycle paths in royal parks.
