§ On 6th June, the Soviet Union notified an exercise involving 60,000 Soviet troops in the Southern Baltic, GDR, Poland and Czechoslovakia from 28th June to 5th July. No observers were invited.
§ No other Warsaw Pact exercises were notified during the period.
