§ Mr. MellorThe information available to me, which may be incomplete, relates to all proceedings for offences under section 39(1) of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. It shows eight offenders found guilty under this section of the Act at all courts in England and Wales in 1980, five in 1981 and 14 in 1982. Corresponding information for 1983 is not yet available.
